Single-character IDN .com domains with live demonstrations

This page presents real symbol-based Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and links to live demonstration sites. Each domain resolves using standard DNS and standard web routing.

What varies is how browsers choose to display the domain. All IDNs are stored using ASCII-compatible Punycode (often visible as xn--). Some browsers render the Unicode (symbol) form when considered safe; others display the encoded form. In all cases, resolution is identical.

In current real-world testing, Apple Safari often renders these particular symbol domains in their Unicode form, while other browsers may display the encoded or demonstration hostname. The examples are intentionally minimal so that display behavior is easy to observe.

Stewardship Policy

Certain symbol domains are managed together due to close visual similarity (glyph variants). Maintaining unified stewardship reduces confusion and discourages fragmented or misleading use.

A limited number of symbol domains shown here were previously transferred and are no longer under current stewardship. They remain listed for historical and illustrative context only.

Domains and demonstrations on this site are presented for technical and illustrative purposes. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party organization.
